There is nothing so gorgeous as a field of poppies.  The vibrant red makes this a popular subject for any artist. A friend of mine returned from a holiday in Europe and as soon as l saw her photos of the poppies l knew l  had to paint them.  It was the most popular painting in a recent exhibition and sold early in the evening.
